| Ladies would you ever consider dating a man as old as your father? |

| I once dated a man who was 12 years older than me. But as old as my father? I don't know. I don't think so. |

My babycakes is 23 years older than me. Gasp.
I didn't really expect I'd date someone that much older than me, but when you fall in love, you fall in love! We've been together for a year and a half and it's been fantastic.
My father is 38 years older than me.
My babycakes has kids that are 4-6 years younger than me.
I think both our families maybe think it's a bit odd, but they're happy if we're happy. |

| When I was 23, I dated a guy who was 40. He was really attractive and very charming. Unfortunately, he turned out to be married. |

Age is only a number...older women date and marry younger men all the time. I suppose one's upbringing might sway against it...but, no reason to be a prude. And many prudish women around! Men too! Can't not like something unless you have actually tried it!
If it's what you want...screw what others think! They don't feed you! Love you! Sex you up! Help pay the bills, etc...And I KNOW you have friends and family who married/dated/date someone their own age and don't get along! Divorce, break up, etc... |

No, given that men old enough to be my father would literally be geriatric. I have dated only a couple of guys older than me in my lifetime, one was 13 years older, and one was about 20 years older; the relationships did not last long.
I have dated and usually date a lot of guys who are younger than me, and most of all of my major relationships have been with younger guys. I look younger and have a younger lifestyle and way of thinking, so younger guys are just a more natural match for me. |

Yes, I did and I will again.
My ex-husband was 20 years older than me. I had no idea how old he was when we first got together and by the time I found out, it didn't matter.
And no, the reason we are divorced isn't because he is much older than me. |

What man of any sort of quality wants someone that dizzy, at any age? Reaping the benefits of hand towels and nice shoes? WTF?
The last guy I fell hard for was 15 years older, and we both struggled with that a bit but it was okay. The thing is, my father was 35 when I was born, so if I were to date someone his age, my date would be getting seniors discounts everywhere we went- no thanks. |

| I date the guy not his age or whathaveyou, so I wouldn't dismiss an older man out of hand just on that. |
