Anything decent happening on new years eve ? I know there are a few good gigs coming up in January but am stuck for new years eve.

-Laurent Garnier is playing in Eden in Gangnam on the 2nd of January.
- Goldie is playing in Mansion on 8th of January in Mansion in Hongdae.
- 2many DJ's / Soulwax will play on the 29th of January (not sure on location yet).

Has anyone been to Joker Red or M2 ? I have heard decent things from people not necessarily into electro music so am not entirely convinced. What style of music is generally played in these places ?? I hate cheesy / funky house music so am generally not interested when I read these places are 'house ' clubs. Anybody been to these places , whats the verdict ??

DJ Daishi Dance is spinning at the Walker Hill Theater, which is an awesome venue, i highly recommend. I think entrance is W50,000, starts at like 11:30pm.

Steve Aoki at Riskei.
Busy P at Mansion.
Yuksek at Walkerhill Hotel.

Don't really like Aoki that much, but I've seen Busy P play a few times and he is usually pretty fun. Don't know how any of these venues are as I've only been to Seoul a couple of times and never really got out that much.

Jokerred is techno/ tech house / progressive

you wont find any funky/electro house there dont worry
