|
|
Hello,
I'm planning on going to Hong Kong after I finish up here in Busan, SoKo.
I am planning on leaving around Feb 28, and i was wondering if you think a one way flight 1 stop over in beijing is worth the price of 234.00 CAD.
I havent found a good prce for a direct fight to HK! It's over 500.00 for a one way direct way too frickin expensive.
So my best option as of now is to take the 234.00 flight which goes up to beijing then from beijing flies to HK. Do you think that's a decent price for a one way to HK?????? Please let me know especially for anyone who has gone to HK. Thank you!! and hope everyone has a nice winter vacay!! |

| That's a good price for HK. How long is the stopover? What is the airline? |

| That's not a good price, but from Busan directly, you won't get any cheaper. |

it's a 2 hr stop over in beijing.
The thing is all the travel agencies ive spoken to said that a ONE way direct from busan is 530 000 that's nuts!!!!
If i go from incheon I still have to get up to incheon from Busan which would be about another 35 000 atleast.
So i saw this on expedia and it's with air china.
Thank you for ur input more is more than welcomed!! Cause i'm waiting to book it to see what others say...... |

I'd definitely check out Cathay Pacific. Sometimes they have awesome prices for shorter stays if that's what you'll be doing.
Otherwise, if you could get someone to help you navigate one of the Korean flight websites you may find cheaper. whypaymore.co.kr....onlinetour.co.kr, etc.
You'd definitely have better options leaving from ICN, though. I usually make the five hour trip to fly out of there because it's a lot cheaper and there are more options. |

| I have seen as low as 300,000 direct. 400,000 is about average. |

That is what I meant. That the fare for 253000 won was good even with a
stopover in Beijing. I agree 500000 won is far to much to pay. |

I tried going on that site, whypaymore.co.kr but i guess for some reason my computer won't let me check the information on that site. For example, i'll enter in all the flight info, and then there is a little thing that says something in korean and has a picture of a computer with a hand coming out of it. Basically saying i'm not able to access the information. DO you know how I can access it.
Or if anyone is KIND enough to help me out!! and check out a flight for me:
From: Busan to: Hong Kong
1 adult
Feb. 28 or 27th. Whichever one is the cheapest....thank you so so so much if someone helps me with this.
Also I would want to know the duration of the flight....thanks a trillion. |

| 250,000 indirect is a good price. Direct is always more than this. My GF has been in and out of HK to Seoul for the last two years and she knows her stuff. I'm guessing the cheap flight is air china. Rubbish airline, but who cares? |

The thing is, i don't need a round trip flight because i'm not coming back to Korea when I leave end of Feb. That's why need only a one-way, but I think i'm going to get that ticket for 250 000. Sounds good and i've heard your guys input, so I'm going to get that ticket soon. Thank you for your help!
I also did my research and didn't find anything cheaper than that. So I guess i can't go wrong. and yes, it is air china!! |

I know you don't need a roundtrip ticket, and no one is saying you need to use the return portion of the ticket.
I buy roundtrip tickets for my daughter, even when she isn't coming back - I've talked to the reps at CX, even they told me to just buy a roundtrip ticket without using the return portion because it's cheaper. |
