Thought I'd make a thread if anyone else was interested in the world of Homebrew.
I just got a Wii and softmodded it. Any cool/essential homebrew recommendations? That goes for the DS as well.
I bought a PSP back when it first came out, never used it, but now that the homebrew community is so huge and creative, I think I'm gonna get it hacked. |

| I've had a Wii for quite some time. I've been thinking of soft-modding it. Is it a pretty easy process? I just haven't gotten around to it as I've usually got something good to play on my 360 keeping me distracted. I've read that you can get it reading an external drive and just run games off of that. That would be handy and save me a lot of discs. |

You are correct on both accounts.
Here is a link to a tutorial for softmodding your Wii: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-faqs-guides-tutorials-only/16970-new-3-1-4-1-softmod-any-wii.html
Unless you are a complete idiot, you'll be totally fine! Good luck!
If you want to load games from an ext. HDD, look in the optional section towards the bottom of the tutorial. |
