				| Been there, done that, got the T shirt.  It was horrible. 
 Here's your answer:  "I'd make the topics such that any level could use what they know, and I'd recruit the higher-skilled students to help the lower-skilled students."

				| well, in the states its called using differentiation.  which means to use differnt teaching methods/paperwork for the lower-level students.  and when doing group activites, group higher level students with lower level ones to help them along (without allowing the higher level kids doing all the work.)  hope that helps |  |

 |  I would use the same lesson and change my expectations for the lower level students.  [Give me an example.]  Sure.  I need you to use an animal, a person, a place, and a doing word.
 
 Low level:  I like cats.  I go to school.  I am a person.
 High level:  I saw a cat running away from a dog in the park.

				| I was asked that and answered by saying....then they shouldn't be in the same class to begin with. It's unfair to both and to the teacher.
