| Hi. I'm about to accept my first position in Korea and I have two options. Cheongju and Jinju city. Cheongju's working hours are 2 to 10pm, and Jinju is 1 to 8pm. I also have a friend in Changwon, which if I can reach from Jinju on a weekday is definetely a bonus. I could also hold out for a job in Gimhae which I may or may not get. What are your thoughts? If it helps, I'm 22 years old. |

Jinju is an hour from big city Busan by frequent, cheap bus and a motel room can be had for 25 bucks a night, allowing many a weekend jaunt. Jinju is ideally situated for zipping off to Changwon too, as well as Geoje, Tongyeong, even Daegu, as Jinju is a hub of express buses everywhere, under four hours to Seoul by express bus, for those once every couple of months trips.
And getting off work at 8pm instead of 10pm is significant in terms of dinner and socializing time.
