|
|
Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone can help me with this.. I've just received a CBC for the year I spent studying abroad in France. It just dawned on me that I didn't get an apostille stamp for it. I have an apostille my Irish CBC. Will the French one present an issue for my visa application??
Thanks for any help. |

| You are expecting logic mate where you will likely not find it. Are you actually being asked for the France CBC? If you are getting a E-2 all they care is that you get a criminal record check from where you passport is from. Heck I have spent about 2 years in all dicking around in Australia and not once have I been asked for an OZ CRC. So I would worry more about your IRISH one. I would not worry about your France check. Keep it tucked in a file folder in a safe and reachable place. There may be that 1 out of a 10000 need for it. |

6 months old or less from the country of passport. Apostille is needed and must be proper.
That simple.
Where you go, where you were, dont matter. 6 months or less, country of issue, good stamp = E-2 |

Get it from the country where your passport is from. I'm from the US, I left in 2002. I've lived in Spain, Scotland, the Czech Rep, China, Korea, and Peru since then.
Haven't been back to the US to live since Jan 3 2002. My CBC is still from IL, USA.
my mom was able to get it for me. I'm sure there's something similar in Ireland. |

Thank you for your answers. I have a CBC from Ireland, where my passport is from. So it sounds like I will be okay
Thanks! |
