E.S.L, in this context, does not stand for English as a Second Language. It, in fact (are you sitting down?), stands for Extended Shelf Life.

Thanks for this. I thought the thinking was that if they drank the milk their ESL skills would improve I know it's a crazy thought but this is Korea. |
