Hi,
Does anyone use a VPN service?
If do, do you use a free one or a monthly pay site?
Any preferences or drawbacks?
Thanks in advance. |

I use IPREDator (by PirateBay) its the best.
It costs me 8,335won per month
- however I don't think you can get it now, I applied for it back in March, 2009 when they were offering it to only 3,000 people. |

Hey Thanks for that.
I'm looking for something to get UK radio and perhaps some TV.
Happy New Year. |

If you only want to get UK radio and perhaps some TV -
then there isn't really any need for a VPN service.
Just use a good proxy like -
http://www.thesafeproxy.com/
(Recommended as very safe by Microsoft and TrendMicro security)
or just use Mozilla Firefox with the "Tors Project" Installed. |

couple months back over at eslcafe there was a long thread in the technology section about free vpn's.
I loaded one of them and now my computer's IP address says my computer is in America right now |

Hi, Tried thesafeproxy.com, but the site still knows my pc is outwith the UK so refuses to play media. I think tor project will have similar results: I was looking for something to say my pc was in the UK, instead of hiding location all together.
I'm trying the freevpn.com. The search function worked a charm and I found the name.
Thanks fo replying. |
