Are there any female expats in Seoul who would like to try to arrange a group? The goal I have in mind is trying to form a network to share information, stories, some laughs, and a drink (or ten). The idea behind making this ladies only is to meet other people who understand what it is like to be away from family, have questions about the culture, want activity partners, etc..., but don't want to be bothered with yet another soju soaked foreigner in Teva sandals asking where your boyfriend is.

There's the Seoul International Women's assoication and the working womens network already formed.

Perhaps it's time for another Dave's Ladies Lunch? Haven't done one in a very long time and they were always fun.

Ok well how about meeting up for a lunch on Saturday JUNE 24th somewhere nice/cheapish in Itaewon?

My thoughts would be either the Thai Orchid or Petra's. Petra's would definetly need a reservation but is cheaper.

But any other ideas would be welcome.

Edited once for wishful thinking.

Let me be the first to try to mess things up by saying I'd love to come, but July 24th won't work for me at all as I'll be in the States. Or did you mean June 24th? I doubt I'll be able to make it then either as I'll be in Busan...

*sighs*

come to think of it, I won't have a free Saturday until... July 15th. How are Sundays for the rest of you? otherwise I'll have to pass.

I'd love to come, but would probably be away in July. I'd be up for a June meet-up though!

Didn't meet many girls at all at the Dave's get-together.

Crap, my wishful freudian typing had me thinking of July when it's still June.
Yeah I was thinking June 24th... Saturdays are usually a good time but Sundays can work too if the meeting time isn't so early.

Actually these lunches have been really good in the past for people who might be put off by doing the full on gatherings and everyone has always been super friendly. So come along!
