I downloaded a 156MB program and my XP can't seem to open it and install.
I got the black administrators box once that said "insufficient memory", but I've got 256MB of RAM here on this Pentium III.
I never had this problem with my 256MB of RAM Pentium4.
What gives?
If it matters at all the file's icon is just a small blue and white windows box instead of all the winzip or stuffit expander icons.
Does this mean anything? |

I get this sometimes. It doesn't actually mean you don't have enough memory. The program either got corrupted when you downloaded it - you could try downloading it again - or it got corrupted whenever it was uploaded to where you're downloading it from. In the latter case, downloading it again won't help. Find another source. |

Maybe your right about it.
I downloaded Illustrator and Photoshop CS using Kazaa Lite 2.4.2 and both are buggy like this.Could they really be corrupted?I see on Kazaa in the Search Field that most of the programs have the same blue and white generic windows icon next to the name.Rarely one has a stuffit expander icon.Does the windows icon signify anything?
I'll try to download another copy. |

Happy to say that I successfully dl a good copy of Photoshop CS.It did seem to be a corruption problem in either the program itself or during the process of dl.Hopefully more smooth sailing from here on.Thanks for those who replied. |
