Update: I spoke with the landlord and they want to sign the contract as soon as possible. The key money will be 2 million won per person.
3 bedroom apartment near Hongdae University. Two rooms available. The building is 3 years old, and the apartment is sunny, and the large room has a window that can look over the rooftops of the adjacent houses.
650,000 per month for the large room.
550,000 per month for the small room.
No smoking/No pets
Utilities vary from month to month, but it should be about 40-50,000 each.
I have lived in the building for a year and am moving from an apartment in a lower level to get a better view. The building owners are a nice, laid back, senior couple. Anytime something needs fixing, they get the repairman to come in within a week.
The building is in an upscale, quiet part of the neighborhood. A large majority of the residents here have lived abroad, so the restaurants, cafes, and shops are quite different from the average eateries and drinking holes that you see around the city. Within two blocks there are about 10 small, independently owned coffee shops. Within walking distance there are Thai, Indian, and Mexican restaurants, and a little bit further down the road is the club and bar area of Hongdae. Hongdae is close enough to get there walking in the worst weather, but far enough that weekend nights are dead silent.
The apartment is sporting brand new, all-white wallpaper. The Kitchen/ living room is a common area and will be fully furnished. I�ll bring in a dining room table with chairs, a television, refrigerator, and coffee table. I plan on getting a futon delivered once we move in as well. In the apartment there is a separate laundry room and we�ll have a washing machine in there.
