|
|
Okay, so my school has asked for a cooking lesson for camp~a 45 minute class with 35 students per class X20 (classes) using (per student):
1 cup yoghurt
1/4 of a banana
1/4 of a mandarin
a handful of raisins
ditto cereal
and some "seeds"
They are thinking groups of 4 students, each group will have a bowl and spoon.
This is going to happen, and must happen. Lesson by tomorrow.
Any ideas? I can't even cook toast...I have no ideas! |

Heh~yeah~my first thought too...but that's one bowl and one spoon per 4 students...I don't really want to ask them to share it! |

Teach them how in some countries people use their hands to eat and the importance of washing your hands before and after eating. Culture, cooking, and hygiene all in one lesson.
That or do a "pretend to be a puppy" roleplay. |

I don't think the students will have a hard time sharing with one another, it's a general practice. But if you're concerned, maybe you could pick up a bag of plastic spoons at the store.
I'm doing a sandwich making lesson soon, and I think I may pick up some plastic gloves... |
