It WAS playing in Avatar in Meyong-dong but not anymore (I think).

I just watched it with no subtitles... I think the movie can easily be followed with no Korean skill.

Looks like it will be shown at Cinecore in Jong-no next weekend (saw it there a couple of weeks ago). Hopefully it's been well-attended and this 'Korean movie cinema with English subtitles' will be an ongoing thing.

Since we are on the subject, do most Korean DVDs have English subtitles available?

Yeah they do. Every one I have ever rented has had them except Shiri. Perhaps that was an early DVD before they realised such things would be useful.

I went to see Taegukgi in ZOOOOZ in Kangnam, with subtitles. I wanted to see it in Megabox in COEX (nicer theatre), but they were only playing the subtitled version on Sunday there, don't know if it changed no (this was a couple of weeks ago).

All of the Korean movies I've rented on DVD had English subtitles.
