Does anyone have any experience getting larger items shipped to Korea? I can't stand my bed anymore (korean beds, there's a discussion!), and want to get a memory foam tempur-pedic-type pad (not a whole mattress). If I buy it on ebay it should cost about $300-400, but here it is like 1.3 million won! However, I don't know how to get it here if I buy one. I've googled a bit, but I keep getting results only relevant to shipping within the US. I don't mind if it's slow, just as long as it gets here.
Thanks! |

It's complicated, to put in simple terms.
Your best bet is to ship on a pallet. It's not too expensive, but you have to deal with transporting the pallet as most shipping companies won't take pallets past the port of entry unless it's to a major shipping center.
Good luck |
