While here in Korea, I bought a few computer parts and threw them together to make a desktop that I'd rather like to take home with me. I know I'll likely have to pay duties on the monitor, but does anyone know the policy on parts such as hard drives, motherboard, etc. I ask because if I could just disassemble it for the trip and avoid duty fees, I could easily put it back together at home. By the way, home for me is the U.S.

Anyone know one way or the other?

I don't know about the US but going to Canada if you own it for more than 6 months you don't have to declare it.
