I know many of you posted about not being able to find authentic Vietnamese food here. Well I hope to bring you some good news.
Earlier this month in 10 Magazine I came across a small article about a Vietnamese restaurant owned by a Vietnamese woman and her Korean husband. According to the artcle, most of the customers are Vietnamese families. It's described as a "little discreet hole-in-the-wall joint that creates down home Vietnamese food".

The place is called Co'm Binh Dan (means Commoner's Rice)
Go to Sinseol-dong Station, lines 1 and 2. Exit 11.
Cross the street south past Sinseol Rotary.
Head south towards Cheonggyecheon and look for the little red sign on the right.

thanks for the heads up.....the Vietnamese restaurants I`ve been to here are pretty terrible and use different ingredients and therefore don`t taste very authentic at all. Hopefully this one is a bit different, having a Vietnamese owner/VN customers and all.

Do they serve kimchi on the side? If yes then I am so there because kimchi, like all korean food, is the best.
