I know many of you posted about not being able to find authentic Vietnamese food here. Well I hope to bring you some good news.
Earlier this month in 10 Magazine I came across a small article about a Vietnamese restaurant owned by a Vietnamese woman and her Korean husband. According to the artcle, most of the customers are Vietnamese families. It's described as a "little discreet hole-in-the-wall joint that creates down home Vietnamese food".
The place is called Co'm Binh Dan (means Commoner's Rice)
Go to Sinseol-dong Station, lines 1 and 2. Exit 11.
Cross the street south past Sinseol Rotary.
Head south towards Cheonggyecheon and look for the little red sign on the right.
02-2232-1341 (Korean)
I haven't been there yet but plan to go soon. If you need a dining buddy, pm me! |

| Why is it 1.5 hours away from me? Will have to try it once I go up that way though. |

| thanks for the heads up.....the Vietnamese restaurants I`ve been to here are pretty terrible and use different ingredients and therefore don`t taste very authentic at all. Hopefully this one is a bit different, having a Vietnamese owner/VN customers and all. |

| Do they serve kimchi on the side? If yes then I am so there because kimchi, like all korean food, is the best. |
