Hello.
I'm an F-4 visa holder at an elementary school Yongin, and I just wanted to double-check what documents I must (as contradictions are not unusual) produce for my school in order to renew the contract (in detail).
They've so far told me:
a) medical check
b) criminal check (so far they've not told me whether a Korean one, or a Canadian one)
c) renewal of my visa to complete the next term
Can anyone specify which documents will be necessary, please. Thank you.

| Not so sure for an f4, but for an e2 all you need is your new contract and a letter of sponsorship from your school and immigration will extend your visa for a year. |

hey thanks for the feedback. funny thing is that's what i also thought.
but, as far as what my co-teacher says, whereas the first year i was employed and contracted through the Gyeongi-do board of education, my second year will be contracted directly through the school, hence, some other documents will be necessary *again*.
yes, imagine my surprise and annoyance to have to do all such things once for each of the 3 years I've been here.
I had to do this the 2nd year only because I switched from EPIK to GEPIK.
however I am not surprised, and always expect things like these to pop up.
anyone else having to go through this redundant ordeal? |
