What do you do with it?

I love Tabasco with fried chicken. Squirt a bunch into a small saucer and dip the chicken and eat. I like to put it onto sandwiches too. Its great on burgers. Sometimes I'll make scrambled eggs and put a few dabs of tabasco on it.

I'm not a big fan of it on Pizza. I prefer crushed red pepper flakes (not the Korean kind). I picked up a huge jar of it last time I was in the US.

After feeling withdrawal symptoms from the Melt I recently started making my own grilled cheese sandwiches. I usually add a chicken breast (bought from Gmarket, 10kg for 57,000won) or tuna and some other odds and ends and top it all off with a splash of Tabasco.

That ish just doesn't compare to Texas Pete though. Why is tabasco so expensive here?

Also, wtf did you get 10kg chicken breast for 57k? I need to get on that train. How long will it keep in the freezer?

It has been about a month and all is good so far. It came shipped frozen (I am in Busan) and packed well. Someone on Dave's talked about it before so I thought I would give it a try.

Go here, I saw that they sell it in 5kg sizes as well. I am not sure why the gifs flash 1kg, but just read the description and it will tell you the details.

Taste is great!

Nice, cheers mate. You using a Samsung credit card to pay for it? I have a feeling I'm going to be sick of chicken soon. I've been buying 2kg boneless thighs from the local mart for 12k...I want breasts.

Sadly, I have never even tried buying from there myself. I just have my lady do it for me Embarassed

I marinate my chicken with all sorts of stuff (mostly beer though) so the taste never gets old. Also, steam cooking it (pouring the marinade in a foil wrapped chicken) keeps it nice and moist!

Here you go

http://english.gmarket.co.kr/challenge/neo_goods/goods.asp?goodscode=124766061

sign up
order
pay at an atm within 5 days
delivered frozen within 2 days in a polystyrene box with ice coolers. They left mine with the secrety guards downstairs and after 3-4 hours hadn't even started to defrost. The chicken is separated into 1kg lots. and it is all good breast meat no fat no bits and pieces that you get with the homeplus stuff. I go through a little over a kilo a week. two breasts a day. I defrost it a kilo at a time and keep it in tuperware at the back of the fridge where the temp is just above freezing.

I love gmarket

I much prefer the spicier Habanero green bottled Tobasco sauce back home. Very Happy Mmmmm.

The truth is Koreans prefer a blander kind of hot sauce so the milder version is all one'll find hereabouts.

I buy Thai and Indonesian hot sauces at the import stores and use them.

I put Tobasco on :
- eggs (scrambled/ hard boiled/ omlette, etc)
- any kind of sandwich
- add into most marinades
- tequila shots (Prairie Fire)

My buddy at Sunset Lounge in Busan has a big bottle of the Chipotle Tobasco that I always hit up when I have tacos or a burrito there.

I love the chipotle tabasco! Its got a nice smokey flavor to it. The Habanero definitely has a kick compared to the regular tabasco.

Get a Sausage Egg and Cheese McMuffin at mcdonald's and put tabasco on it. Mmmm mmm...

I put tobasco on anything fried, Tapation on anything Mexican, and Sri Racha on anything else. Pizza without hot sause isn't worth eating.
