|

I deep fried some chicken recently and now have three vodka bottles full of dirty cooking oil. Does anyone know what i'm supposed to do with it? I'm sure I could just sneak down to the garbage area and dump it in the trash, but i'd rather not go that route. I didn't see a bin in the garbage area that seemed appropriate.
any advice (funny or helpful) would be appreciated |

You're saving these empty vodka bottles for your grandchildren? Cap 'em, throw 'em in a council bag, and toss 'em out with the rest of the trash. |

what my family has always done:
use some when frying sliced potatoes (mmmmm)
and compost the rest : put in a garden, over dirt or the base of a tree (animals and insects will consume used cooking oil) |

put them in a plastic bag.
Get on a bus.
Whilst on the bus put them down near your feet.
Get off the bus, but "forget" to take the plastic bag with you. |

make biodiesel out of it by cracking it with lye and methanol. |

In my apartment complex, there are recycling drums for pouring in used cooking oil -- they have big plastic funnels in place and everything -- I assume it is indeed used to make biodiesel...so look around for big oil drums near where you might put out your recycling.... |

Most apartment complexes have those oil barrels for that. If yours doesn't, i'm sure you could just pour them into the food trash container. It would make all that rotten waste so much more tasty. |

Everything causes cancer, do you even know what cancer is? |

Yeah, I do. I think having watched all four of my grandparents battle cancer not once, but twice, I have a pretty good idea.
Yes, lots of things cause cancer, doesn't mean that you can't elimate your risks. For example
Wear sunblock outside and a hat
Don't smoke
Don't drink
It's not rocket science. |
