has anybody recently applied for a 2 month tourist visa at the thai embassy in seoul? did you need to show your plane ticket at that time? the website says you have to, but i find this strange as other embassies instruct not to make travel plans until AFTER you've secured your visa. i mean, what if they don't have it ready in time or decide NOT to issue you a visa for some reason. i know it's possible to just arrive there without a visa and get a month and then extend it for another 15 days at a local immi office, but my specific travel plans hinge on getting the two month tourist visa, then extending it for a third month without doing a visa run. i wouldn't even be able to get on the plane if my passport was stuck inside the embassy because it was the king's cousin's dogs birthday or something.
