My director asked me if I'd like to teach at another hagwon for an extra hour every day. Makes me feel like a bit of a prostitute being hired out like that Very Happy , but I'm considering doing it. What would the legal requirements be (regarding visa, etc.) and what should I be paid for it?
Any thoughts? Rolling Eyes

Go to immigration with your current director and your extra hour a day director.
Sign a form.
Legal

If this is not done you are illegal and hence immigration finds out and its TROUBLE for you.

I've seen people deported because they were farmed out to a different hagwon, immigration found out, your director won't stick up for you especially close to the end of your contract as he gets out of paying bonus plus ticket.

Better safe than sorry.

By the way, unless it is with the same company -- forget it being legal.

Tried the same thing, and immigrations denied it because it wasn't the same owner.

Thanx for the input. I'll see what the boss says.
