Anyone know the best place for cheap deals on Skiing in Phoenix Park?
With the 42% off the lift pass, it still looks pretty expensive!!
37k for lift pass
27k for skiis
28k bus ticket
17k clothes
And I reckon about 20k for ski hire
around about 120k I think!!!!!

Where did you get these prices? I just got back from there this weekend (did 2 days, 1st day was a package, 2nd day we bought everything there), and the prices were as follows:

52k for lift ticket but with BC logo on card you get 20-25% off, forgot which it was exactly
12k for skiis and boots
19k for snowboard and boots
14k for bus ticket
12k for clothes

Total I spent for two people came to around 150k (minus the bus ticket - my girl paid for that)

It was less than that with the package we got with a pension. Look up Penstory Pension and Snow Park and see if you get anything.

At high1 you get a 30% discount if you get the tickets from a ski shop rather than the resort. likely to be the same there

It's like the Visa or MasterCard logo on debit cards from back home. If your bank card has the BC logo then you get some kind of discount. Can't find a picture, but if you have a red sphere with 'BC' inside then it's a BC card

Go at night, they have an evening lift pass from, I want to say 11 pm to 4am. It's surreal, it's an adventure, it's cold, and waaaaaaaay less people are there. Definitely a great experience.

I cant seem to find the Penstory pension link on google using the words suggested to search.

Incidentally you go go to Phoenix with AdventureKorea.com but it appears that its 125k for the weekend, but u only get a saturday afternoon pass, and thats it Rolling Eyes
The cost includes the ski hire for then, but doesnt even include the clothes hire Sad

the only way to ski at Phoenix is with some sort of discount...otherwise its just silly, more than skiing at Whistler.

Anyhoo, the best deal I've heard of is to get a full bus and lift ticket package on line. Sorry, no link, but I know many folks who do it so it must be pretty easy to find for Koreans. Day lift ticket and bus there and back for 45k.

Many of the rental shops around the resort also offer 30% off lift ticket coupons when you rent from them.

I suggest getting the bus and lift ticket deal then get rental gear from the places surrounding the resort. You should be able to get kitted out for around 20K (skis are cheaper than boards though).

Another good option is to buy a seasons pass, 450k. This includes free bussing and discounts for friends (about 30%). You can ski day or night. You only need to go 10 times to make this more than worth your while.

You can buy a full kit of gear for 500 (good quality - I bought some year old top end skis, bindings with mid range boots for 500K, although boards are a little pricier) or you can get a beginner set for 250-350K.

If you go ten times a year and drop 20k each time on gear...that's your beginner set right there.
