I want to make oyster stew and the recipe calls for half and half cream. Does anyone know if it's available in the supermarket? If so, where have you seen it? |

Isn't half and half just half cream, half whole milk? I know they sell cream in Korea. They often refer to it as prima (brand name). |

Yeah, I think so but it would be easier to buy one instead of two. |

Then your answer is: No. |

Yeah, but prima? that stuff's flamable. Seriously! I really think so! I've yet to find anything like real half'n'half here in the Morning Calm country but use your imagination and work something else out. How else do I make my lasagna?
'Course any recommendations I make includes an invite! |

Who uses half and half? Are you on a diet? Use heavy cream. fat=flavor. |

No, I'm not on a diet but this is for a kind of soup (oyster stew) that I love but have never made before. Usually I buy Campbell's Oyster Stew but it's not available here... Anyway, if I used full cream wouldn't it be too think and gloppy? I do watch what I eat and the recipe also says to use a stick of butter...so not the healthiest thing but....I really want some! |

Seriously, you should probably stick to half and half. I was just joking around . |

Thanks for the idea... Now that I'm thinking about it, oyster stew sounds good, especially with all the oysters available. |

I find Half and Half Cream at "I love Cookies" near jeongia Station. A store that has many western products and what nots.
Anyway, I am a great fan of cooking and trying new things so I just wanted to wish you luck |

They have it at E-Mart. At least they have cream. If they only have heavy cream but no half-and-half, then just make your own half-and-half by mixing the cream with milk. |
