Apparently he was in Haiti at the time of the quake and is unaccounted for.

I'm sure this story will blow up any minute now.

You might want to read your news headlines a little more carefully......the head of the UN mission to Haiti is missing.....not the secretary-general of the UN.

Pay my ransom of 1,000,000,000 dollars then I'll release him! Based on the current exchange rate of course!

I am quite sure Ban, KiMoon last visited Haiti in August, 2007.

Why on Earth would CNN run that headline when CNN reporters have been busy filming him for the last week in Europe at the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, Denmark ?

So you claim you saw it on CNN and that you expect for the story to blow up? If it was on CNN, then hasn't it already blown up? Oi vey. I think having you say 'Oops, my bad' would've sounded better than trying to use a half-ass attempt to save face. Rolling Eyes

Easy there kid. It was a breaking news banner on CNN.

No face needed to be saved here.

You're welcome for my excusing of your lame attempt at insulting.

Carry on.
