| I just bought a new iBook G4 (shipped from Canada) and I would like to download either Microsoft Word or Office onto it. It's got a 40GB hard-drive so I don't foresee any problems with space. Does anyone know any good sites that would allow me to do this for free or minimal cost? As this is my first computer, I am a bit of a rookie with downloading software, so any advice about this would be much appreciated as well. Thanks. |

Do a P2P search for macs and you'll find some software to begin your download experiences. |

Did you bring it with you, or just get lucky and not get nailed for the up to 60 percent customs import charge? |

| I guess I just got lucky. My bro shipped it for me from Vancouver through DHL. It cost $142 CAD to ship in 4 days. I was going to buy it here but didn't want Korean text on the keyboard and was worried about the warranty when I returned to Canada (I've since learned of the worldwide warranty from this board). |
