I think a lot of it comes down to the quality of your monitor or laptop screen. Apple do make good hardware and the resolution of the screens is crisp and bright. I run OS X on a hackintosh setup, and it doesn't look nearly as nice as it does on an Imac.
I tried this fix on my cheapo generic monitor running Win7 and it just looked blurry. You can use font smoothing in the windows display options to achieve similar effects. |
