Do international schools require at least one parent to be living in Korea while their little Johnny or Susie attend? |

Well, they are not boarding schools so little johnnie or Susie must have somewhere / someone to live with and the school would require that person to be their legal guardian - parent or not.

To the best of my knowledge, there is no requirement for the parents to reside in Korea while their kids attend an international school. In fact, many if not most of the international schools in Korea having boarding options for students whose parents do not live nearby.
Also, it is worth mentioning that while I lived in Thailand for nearly 6 months, I was tutoring some Korean students who attending international schools there. In some cases, their parents never left Korea and simply sent their children away to stay with another Korean family living in Thailand. In fact, the Korean families living in Thailand made a lot of money by letting these other Korean students stay with them. |
