Nandaemun and Myeong-dong are right next to each other. Insa-dong and Yongsan are a 15-20 minute cab ride away from those locations as well. Then there is the COEX and Apgujeong.
What is it that you are shopping for? |

If you want high fashion brands, Sinsa, Cheongdam, and Apgujeong.
For the normal stuff, Myeongdong.
Dongdaemun if you want cheap stuff. |

Express bus terminal for cheap. Also Dongdaemun.
Myeongdong for name brand/ western clothes
COEX is useless, Myeongdong has all of the stores of COEX plus H&M and Forever 21. Plus you can see the hordes of fashionably dressed Japanese tourists. |

| myeongdong and coex for me. Dongdaemun has a lot of the wackier styles, definitely more catered to koreans. the various malls aren't that cheap, you have to bargain and there are 삐끼's, or touts, mainly 20-30 something males who bother you and joke around with you, trying to get you to buy their stuff. |
