Can someone tell me who they are?

They kept knocking on my apartment door all day (Saturday) from early morning and finally at 08:00pm I opened the door.

They allowed themselves in to my apartment without saying a word - dressed in a blue uniform with a green medico-cross on their shoulders - holding a clear plastic container in one hand.

Immediately they went to my bathroom, then bedroom, kitchen and living area and using a small spatula placed a tiny amount (about the size of your smallest-finger tip) of some gooey brown substance under cupboard sinks, in my closet and any other smallest space that is not noticeable.

Then just like that they exited and left.

Who are they?
What is the brown gooey substance?
Do they do this in every new apartment?

I started thinking (conspiracy - government - agents) and immediately after they had left - I deliberately used tissue paper to remove every last drop of the gooey substance from the places they had put it). Anyone else had this happen to them?

Yeah, they've been 'round to my place, too. They're the local pest control, and that goo is anti-roach and other unwelcome pets.

now that I know they were trying to help me - I would not have wiped it away -

however - both of them never smiled - nor spoke a word - I've seen that look they had on their faces before on agents faces (being a former agent myself back in my home country)

if only they had said Anyong-ha-se-yor - or even smiled or had a picture of a small insect/bug on their uniform - - just showed some friendliness

well - its something I can tell my family back home - to give them a small laugh

Goo at least sounds more innocuous than the toxic stink the teams with spray cannisters leave behind. But just a little heads-up, folks -- if you dont have bugs or if you prefer to deal with the problem in a more ecologically sensitive way, you are under no obligation to let them in. Just say no.

But you probably do need to admit the annual gas inspectors. They've got electronic sniffers & look for subtle leaks you'd likely be unaware of.

In a sence, Corporal is correct. They are Aliens (i.e., "Koreans") and they are placing spores in you place that will take over your mind. As a general rule, they just paralyse you, and stick some up your left nostril. They would never just wait for you to just let them in. But, remember, a vampire can only enter if you envite him in. So, these were probably Alien vampires. In any case, they are trying to control you mind. I even heard that they try to use sabliminal (sp?) messages to try to take over our minds, and to tell us that Aliens are not real. They even slip them into our emails and stuff after we send them to our friends, etc.

By the way, it is a very nice day here in Kwangju. How is aliens are not real the weather where the rest of you are?

The stress of worrying about whether he's going to end up as someone's samgyetang or better yet, dipped in red sauce and served with chopped peanuts is getting to him, I guess.

>. This kinda stuff really pisses me off. If they came knockin on my door ( for 16 hours or 5 minutes or whatever ) i wouldn't let em' into my place.

All sounds a little too X-filish. MY sense is either you're being poisoned OR they've got you under close surveillance ( all in the name of fighting the war on terror of course ).

What of that toxic spray sh^t they're always spraying in the streets & subway systems etc ??? All non-toxic are they ??? Oh yes, of course. Just go with it, eh & don't ask any questions. As i've had it explained to me, Koreans esp. really don't like answering too many questions.

Tell em to get lost. Mad
