Not surprising. I couldn't find previous presidents' visitor logs, though, on this website. The only one listed is Obama's.

It is a new site. Doesn't matter anyways.

The visitor log of Obama's White House is pretty damning about his buddying up with media and big business. That's for sure. It's disappointing, but I don't suspect other presidents did things any differently.

Were you surprised? Perhaps, you were because Obama ran on a platform for the "little people" and is now acting contrary to such statements. Presidents do this all the time and I'm not a little disappointed, but I can't say it's surprising or shows any conduct that hasn't been seen before in past presidencies. Sadly, Obama tried the same thing President George W. Bush did: http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/other/47784-white-house-keeps-visitor-logs-secret-as-bush-did. To wit, it doesn't make him any less culpable. I support transparency in government.

Again, it's disappointing to see this recur in presidencies past and present. Opensecrets.org is another organization that tracks donations.

One question I do have is: have visitor logs always been open to the public?
