Rowan Hall of ESL Planet has some info on the more hoops people will have to jump through if they want a public school job or a teaching job in general in Korea for the next year.

This has to be the worst pile of rubbish that I have ever listened to. Thanks for wasting my time with this link.

This SeoulPodcast is the most amateur crap.

My friend was telling me that he got rejected twice for his requested positions. The recruiter told the office of education that they made a mistake in rejecting him. They then pulled him in for a 30 minute in-person interview before finally offering him the job for his first request.

For my job last year, I filled in an application, did a 10 minute phone interview and got my job.

Spent a few minutes waiting till it loaded, then as soon as he was going to say what the changes were it quit. Can you just give us a brief outline of what the changes are?

I hate podcasts, video news, audio books all that stuff. Just because something can be taped doesn't mean it has to be.

When did people stop reading? I can scan an article in seconds get the information I want (or find out if it doesn't).

TV is great, news articles are great. TV news sucks.

Can someone simply type what info is meant to be in the podcast

rant over

Because that would mean doing something I really don't like to do

Bad argument.....

Just because took the time to make it it means we have to listen to it?

By the way...I usually like Seoul podcast. Its light entertainement and as long as they remain out of the serious issues they do fine.

I tried to, but it kept going on about a bunch of rubbish that had nothing to do with the topic. I don't know how long I was supposed to listen through all that pile of rubbish before it actually started on something relevant, but I don't have the time to waste.

If you have listened through all that garbage and found some gems of wisdom, could you place post them or summarize them?

Zenpickle is just posting here so that he can get more hits on his lameasss web page.

The entire webcast is quite long I think an hour. The section about regulations is only 1 minute and it is in the second half of the broadcast. I kept scrubbing through.

The other thing that I think is bad is this guy and his cronies spent more minutes blasting dave's calling us whiners and such.

Can I guess?

*Monthly aids tests?

*Olympic style drugs test? The principle can turn up in your room at 4am on a Sunday and you have to pi$$ in a test tube?

*5 copies of your original transcript signed by the schools most famous alumni?

Am I close?

Or you could have simply gone straight to 1:26 where zen posted the info was.

EDITED: I removed the snide comments that would have lowered me to the level of most on this board.

Actually thank you Kprok.

I didn't see the time code at the bottom. I just skimmed over and hit the link and wasted my time.

But overall most of the information on their podcast is pretty lame.
