Is clothing relatively cheap in Korea? On average, how much would a top/skirt/dress/pair of pants set you back? I'm sure it varies from city to city and shop to shop but a ballpark estimate would be great.

I understand that sizes may be an issue for some, but I'm pretty small. Thanks.

Price really does vary a lot... its hard to give a ballpark figure because it always depends on the city and which part of the city you go to. Id give a rough estimate of 7,000 won and up for simple items (tshirt etc), and 15,000won and up for skirts etc. But if you go online you can get really cheap stuff (like gmarket.co.kr). Sizing can be a problem though, even if you are small. Western women are just a different shape to Korean women - hips, chest, length of torso/legs etc

Thanks.

Another question: I have knee-high boots that I wear during the winter. They are nice (not working the night shift type of boots;). Would wearing them be frowned upon in over there?

Nah boots will be fine day to day, not sure about work - depends on the job.

Though my manager used to wear thigh-high boots to work...

If you dont have huge feet then rememeber you can buy cheap shoes over there too. They measure in mm, 250 is generally the largest size for women. There are a million different kinds, though it might take you a while to get used to Korean style...

turtlenecks are 20,000w at E-mart and after 5 days, seems have holes in them. The quality is poor. Courderoy pants are 30,000w and are ok. Size 10 is about 80 in K. sizes. the shoes last 6 weeks, and the K's. love boots.

Yes another very good point I forgot... it can be cheap but quality is low. If anything lasts longer than a season you're lucky. I dont mind that too much though.
