hi, i plan on leaving at the end of next month and i'm wondering where i can find a good deal on a plane ticket. i prefer flying korean air or asiana and this is just a one way ticket back home. thanks in advance!

I've used airmall.co.kr for my trips back the US. If your Korean isn't very good, you will probably need some help though.

I found this website has had really cheap rates, and it doesn't matter where I go. Many times Airchina is the leader though. And they are like 50% the cost of others.

Example Christmas eve bought a ticket 800 dollars round trip from korea to USA. expedia 1800

Wanted to go to Taiwan in Feb, well Expedia 480. This website 330,000 won

Cheaptickets.com is pretty good. the difference between all these low fare sites is a few bucks. I found a ticket here for 632 then my travel agent quoted me the same price.

It really varies on time of year and other factors.

Try the airline website (if you are travelling near or to a hub of an airline, then it's usually cheaper). Try different airlines. Also try calling Shoestring Travel in Hongdae: 02-3142-3877. They often have decent rates, and speak English. ALWAYS ask and check out taxes and baggage fees. They can now exceed 100,000 to 200,000 won!

Given the time of year I travel home, I've found the airlines to have the best deals.
