I have searched the threads and I have found many posters who say they have gotten Wellbutrin (or generic) in Korea to help them stop smoking. Although, none tell exactly where and claim not all doctors will prescribe this.

I am trying to avoid moving from doc to doc til i eventually find one that will help. Any good recommendations? I live near Gangnam/Seocho but can travel a bit if needed.

My husband got his prescription from a local dr at the Homeplus clinic. Unfortuantely the guy has moved on.
I do know a family dr that can prescribe it for you.
Be careful with this drug. It cause my husband to have violent mood swings and he had to go one other medications just to counter the side effects. Thankfully he has stayed smoke free for almost 4 years now.

Most people say it is easier to tell your doc you were taking this back home for depression. It will be covered by insurance in that case. Smoking cessation isn't.
