We haven�t got the specific orientation schedule and place from S.M.O.E yet,
(which I will shortly forward to you guys once they do)

We now know that they want you to arrive in Korea on 26th of February (Friday Korean time)

Between 1:00 PM ~ 7:00 PM (which is the time they will run their buses)

So you can get your flight now which arrives in this specific date and time.

If you may need some help to book your flight,

our staff will be there at the airport by that day,

so please email me the detailed flight information as soon as you get one.

Those candidates who is in Korea right now, then I will send you another email

When they arrange a bus to go to the Orientation place,

I think it will be sometime in the morning of March 1st, but I will make it sure.

Just in case, if you haven�t send us your documents yet for NOA,

Please be hurry and send me as soon as possible.

We must have your documents by the first week of February to be able to get your NOA on time.


SO my question is since I am actually going to be in the ROK by the 14th to visit some people. Do I show up at the airport on the 26th or wait till the 1st? This is my first year at SMOE so obviously I don't want to screw up and miss stuff.

i'm in the same boat as you..(got the same email too!)
i'll probably be arriving around the 17th, and so i spoke to my recruiter and she said i could just show up at the orientation once they announce the place.


according to the email, it sounds like they are going to send a "shuttle bus" around for the ppl already in korea. *shrug

i think there will be another email with more specifics later on.
im just glad they finally told us when orientation is.
