Does anyone who knows the place better than I do know where I should look to get some good deals on some pedals? Used is fine provided they at least work, or are easily fixed. Cosmetics are of no concern. Or any DIY shops? I'm not abject to soldering some circuits together.
Online prices are ridiculous in Korea. A Boss Metal Zone goes for 126'000, and that's the cheapest Boss you can buy.
Not that I'm looking for Boss pedals. I don't think I'll know exactly what I'm looking for until I see it. No more multi-effects, I've had a couple different ones, and I'm tired of being limited by the cut-and-paste dirt-mod-delay formula. That place is so big, there must be some wacky stuff lying around in the dark corners. Pitch shifters, envelope filters, bitcrushers, multi-delay/echo madness, something that will compliment my Devi Ever BIT (compressed, bleepy Fuzz.) |

Pedals are very expensive everywhere in Korea, and Nagwon is no exception. |

Yes, yes they are. Didn't stop me from blowing nearly 700kwon today. Got a Boss CS-3, Boss DD-20, Artec 8 band EQ, Visualsound Jekyl and Hyde and an Artec power supply.
Seems Artec is a newish Korean brand, I saw quite a few of their pedals about. Solid metal build, nice switches. Dunno if they're any good. The power supply is solid, 8 outputs two of which are variable from 6 to 12 volts in a nice, small metal casing and comes with all necessary wires. I suppose their EQ that I got second hand wont tell me much about the quality of their effects. |

Then again...
What kind of moron installs a blinking LED power indicator - that you can hear switching on and off - in an EQ pedal? Did they test this miraculous design? I wonder if all of their pedals have this state of the art feature.
Oh well, with a little tinkering it shouldn't be too hard to remove that part of the circuit. |
