Hi, I live in Busan. Could someone give me the lowdown on this? How do I get the bags neeeded for trash? Could you show me the word in Korean? Also, am I right in thinking that I put recyclable items in clear bin bags?
THanks in advance |

You buy the recycling bags in local 'corner' shop. 쓰레기 봉지.
Put paper, plastic, metal in separate bags.
Ask your landlord where to place them once they are full.
As for food waste and other hard to recycle things, ask your landlord. |

At HomePlus and such you can often find a rack with green bags. That's the trash bags.
I'm not sure what kind of bags you should put recyclables in. I've asked a lot of people but nobody has given me a decent answer. I've also noticed at my local garbage spot that many people use other type of bags for recyclables, but not sure if it's correct...
Talking with the land lord would have been an option if the land lord spoke a word of English or if I could more than 100 words of Korean. |

Recycling is different with different cities, so best to find out from the landlord first.
It is said: Ss-Re-gi Bong-Ji.
Literally: Rubbish Sack.
Talking to the landlord is something that your co-teacher ought to do for you.
However, we know that some co-teach ain't that helpful.
Maybe you can do it via phone. |
