|
|
Can anyone give me any ideas? I've been looking into spas and musicals, but are there any really good activities to do here? It is kind of frustrating to come up with something when I A.) Don't live in Seoul B.) Parks/camping is out of the question since it's chuweo. and C.) I'm assuming most shit is in Korean. Advice anyone? |

Years ago, you had to stick to the basics....
Bowling
Bars
Coffee shops
Movies (theaters or video rooms)
Noraebangs
Then you can move up to the more reserved, cultured stuff....
Museums
Live theater or music performances
Hiking
Craft/hobby cafes/clubs
The list will grow. I've seen some interesting input come up on boards with this topic.... |

I was going to add some things but then realized that I revel in the suffering of others |

Whilst they may be in Korean, I do find that the musicals are well done. I saw when a couple of months ago and enjoyed it.
Mind you... the one I went to go see was Legally Blonde, so it's not exactly 'high art', but it was well done nonetheless (even if I didn't understand all the Korean jokes). If you like romantic comedies, then it could be worth a watch. I believe Phantom of the Opera, Chicago, and Hairspray are playing somewhere as well.
If you just go on youtube and search the Korean versions of whatever broadway musical your interested, you'll get a couple of clips so you can get a taste for it.
As for other stuff to do... I can't think of what else to add to the least. Coex Aquarium? Lotteworld? A trip down to Jeju? |

The following is a list of ideas for where to take a girl. Guys, the past 2 posts I've put up regarding dating advice were both removed because people went ape$#!t when they read my ideas. Whatever. I got some PM's from people asking me to repost. Just keep your emotions in check, you're here to learn how to treat a woman, not act like one.
Items are listed in order of sequence, meaning the first items are where you usually want to start off, toward the end you get to heavier items in terms of cost and reward. I put stars next to my favs.
Basic
Coffee*
Happy hour
Lunch (fast food/simple dining)
Movie
Bookstore
Dinner date*
Batting cage/golf screen (short but fun)
Night of drinking*
Noraebang* (Make sure you do this after a couple dates and you've got a few people in your group. You don't want her taking off with her friends at the end...you didn't sing Bohemian Rhapsody* for nothing!)
DVD room (you won't be watching the movie...)
Advanced
Trip to the market to pickup ingredients*
Home cooked meal at her place or yours*
Trip to a local art gallery or museum*
Trip out of town to a famous landmark or famous restaurant
Hiking
Club/Lounge (a real club, not a bar with a dance floor)*
Performing arts theatre*
Festival/Expo*
Live Concert
That's about it. Remember, combine as many of these as possible in the early stages of meeting her. You want to establish as many experiences with her so you graduate to the next level in her mind. As with all things on Daves, I'm half expecting a bunch of old men to flag this down, but I know there's a couple guys who can use this.
PM me if you want to learn more.
Addendum:
Going to a movie or performance in Korean gets you a lot of points with the girl. She knows you don't understand it, but you're making an effort, which goes a long way in her mind. When you are watching the movie/performance, appear genuinely interested and humored.
If she brings her friends on the first date, it's ok. They are her insurance. That way she appears demure. But if she's bringing her friends constantly, you're just a meal ticket. |
