hi, what's the best internet and cable service in haebongchon. I was ideally looking for all the sports channels and bbc knowledge and world. any help would be great! also - how much are the monthly costs?

Check the technology forum. C&M and KT internet appear to have slowed down a lot in HBC recently. SK broadband might be a better bet. But hard to get anything other than anecdotal evidence.. maybe luck of the draw depending on how your building is cabled etc. full C&M package has all the local sports channels + star sports in English + BBC world (not knowledge) etc. with internet for around 40k/mth.

I live in HBC and have both cable and internet service from CnM...

I pay 35,000 a month..

Overall its pretty good BUT

for some reason the HBC area has notoriously poor reception for internet. I never had a prob with my cable TV.

Twice my router just stopped giving me internet service for about 10 hours. Called the company and they said it seems to be a prob in the HBC area. Also watching videos on Youtube for example can be frustrating especially at peak times (it seems). There are lots of stoppages etc...

To sum up. I was expecting a bit more (as Korea in general has super quick upload/download times) but overall I am pretty happy with the package..

I had KT by itself before in a diff part of Seoul and had better internet coverage as a result.. Not sure how KT works here or if the cable affects the internet speed somehow.

Its not slow or anything but with watching videos online etc, it can be frustrating sometimes!!
