|
|
I recently opened a thread about the lacklustre approach my recruiter has had with me.
He has my Docs, but due to me not getting the Feb 10 EPIK job (last minute problem with my ref. letters) , he is "looking" for another job for me.
He has replied to one of my last 6 emails, the one reply saying that maybe i should just apply for the Epik programme in Sep Instead of a private school job.
He has left me frustrated, but is there realistically anything that i could do?
I don't want to go through the whole process of getting doc's again, as it will take another 6 weeks, plus another 150.
What chance would you give me of getting a job with another recruiter and having the doc's mailed to the new recruiter?
If you were in my situation, what would you do?
Thank you. |

I was in your position awhile back, and have been let down 1 time after another by recruiters.
The truth is, there are may recruiters, and the more you have work for you, the better your chances of getting a job. Unless it's a certain public school job you want to apply for, you don't have to let them know that you're working with other recruiters.
With GEPIK, I applied with all 25 of the official recruiters! 1 recruiter can only have so many positions for ALL their applicants, so it's best to cover ALL your options.
Oh yeah, while applying for a GEPIK position, a more preferred SMOE position fell onto my lap after my recruiter brought it up and argued to schedule my interview the same day and I got it right before their roster filled up the next day.
If another recruiter nails you a job, just have your docs mailed to them instead. It happens all the time, and it only costs them like 50 cents. |

if you really want to work now, just tell the recruiter to get you a hagwon job there are tons of them and it would require less work on their part anyway. |

DONT TAKE BALZOR'S ADVICE
They want to help out business partners anyway so if you ask them to find a hagwon, that will just be following their original plan. Demand that they find you a job, and find a new recruiter (public schools are still hiring) and have the docs sent to the new recruiter. Let them know you are serious |
