Right this is the plan............hopefully....
to go to bangkok and complete a 1 month TEFL course there and then move on from there to korea to teach for 1 year. I am trying to find out what the best way of going about this is and am not sure whether I should have a job and visa organised before I leave home, or can I complete the course and then go and look for a job and a visa? Do I need to apply for an E2 visa while in my home country or can I do it when I get to korea? any advice welcome.
Thanks

I doubt a school will wait for you to get training when they could hire someone else. You are better off either getting a job now with what you got or go get training, come back, and then look for work.
You could try to get a head start and look for work as you are finishing up in Bangkok. |

agreed, getting a TEFL is not required for hagwons. However, they won't care why you're not there, just that you are not there. you can get your TEFL anytime. Lock the job down first. |
