I am a little worried.
My contract here expires at beginning of May, which is a strange date.
Should I choose to go elsewhere but stay in Korea, I'm worried my options will be severely limited at least on the public school level. I'm not interested in anything rural, for e.g. and don't want to be outside of Seoul/Gepik area.
I am already missing out on an attractive uni position nearby which wants someone on March 1. I would've had a shot there despite no MA because of my experience and I'm sure my current school would give me a kick ass recommendation.
Am I correct to be concerned or am I needlessly worrying? |

there's usually a few PS jobs to be had at most times, though you can't count on that.... another option would be to sign an extension for a few months to coincide with a better time.... IF your present school is OK with that.....
in hindsight I with I had timed things better leaving my first job. Playing things by ear only gets you so far.... |
