A Johnson City man has been charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment after police say he helped a woman discharge a gun.
According to the Johnson City Police Department on April 3 they responded to a house on Royal Circle in reference to shots fired. Their investigation revealed that several victims had a gun pointed at them and a woman had fired shots into the air.
However, the woman was unable to fire the gun until David Dixon, 18, cocked the gun for her and handed it back.
Dixon has been charged with 2 counts of aggravated assault and 6 counts of reckless endangerment. He is being held on a $120,000 bond.
