Hi all,

I created a new website over the course of a year, but it hasn't been updated in a while... The website can be seen here: http://esloutpost.com/

I stopped updating it 4 months ago because I got a new job that has me occupied pretty much 24/7, but I'm planning on bringing this back with the help of a few teacher friends and I'd like to know what you guys would like to see so we know where to direct our efforts:

Buy/Sell/Trade with other teachers and get a decent idea of things that are available based on your region
List your school so people can find you and make sure they don't ripped off by bad schools
Post your resume and search jobs (not so important at the moment)
    Post and search lesson plans
Use granular privacy controls and PM other users/get their contact info.
User forums, but I've since closed them because as soon as I launched my free Google Adwords I was bombarded with spam bots registering and just sitting there with links in their Signature lines

Emphasis on the bold above because I feel like this is important to most people. I toyed with lots of ideas about how to handle school reviews and ultimately decided that listing your current and previous schools and making yourself searchable was the best way to let future possible teachers know what they're getting in to.

I started the website with the idea that it's better to organize different kinds of information rather than have to dig through it with a forum, but right now it's a bit of a chicken and an egg problem: it won't be useful until people use it. So, I guess my current recourse is to make it useful in other ways so that people can find it and highly-motivated types can start accounts and make it useful Smile

So what would you guys suggest? What would you like to see in terms of content and tools?
