I am looking for recruiters or websites, anything at all to try and find some higher end teaching jobs for my brother.
He graduated from a good law school and practiced for a few years in NY.
He is still on the younger side at just 30 years old and is trying to find something a bit more lucrative than the standard hagwon and public school posts.
If anyone could point us in the right direction, we would greatly appreciate it.

Which "good" law school?
In a previous post, I thought you said you only had a bachelors? |

Hey there. Yes I do indeed only have a bachelors degree.
I actually made the post on behalf of my brother who doesn't have any posts on this site.
I am just trying to help him get into it and figured I could get some responses.
Sorry for the confusion.
Any help would be much appreciated! |

A number of Korean unis require lawyers to teach business & international law. |

Thanks for the response!
Are there any specific recruiters or agencies with that specialty or know somewhere he should be looking for those specific jobs?
Thanks again! |

Every international school of business (English language instruction) would require a business law professor. My uni has one and is adding another for next semester.
There are Korean law schools which periodically advertise for lawyers. There are also Korean companies which hire foreign lawyers. A Korean lawyer was telling me that there were several foreign lawyers at her company.
Kyungpook National in Daegu was trying to hire an American lawyer for its law school for last semester.

I am not aware of any recruiters specifically for lawyers. If your brother went to a big name law school, they probably have an alumni group which can help him here in Korea.
LSAT & GMAT prep. would also pay well. Good luck! |

| for some reason this reminds me of the old film LOST IN AMERICA, when Albert Brooks has to go to an employment agency, and asks if they have a box for the 100,000 dollar jobs... |

1. What school did he graduate from?
2. What was his LSAT score?
Depending on the answers to 1 and 2, he might be better off getting a job in the U.S. Their are large test prep companies that start at $50 per hour. Once you get good, $100-200 per hour is the norm. |

Thanks for the reply.
He is really only looking for jobs in Seoul for now as I am also going to be moving there. We also have other family going to be in Japan. He wants to move abroad, so it makes sense for now to look in SK. |

| I think the best bet would be to look in person. If it's viable for him, I'd recommend flying over on his own and spending a few weeks checking things out. I figure that the best jobs don't necessarily need to be advertising and posting info online. |
