Hi everyone
I had an interview last night with the Jeollabuk (Jeonbuk??) Provincial Office of Education and have been accepted for an English teaching position within the region. There is no indication of where I will be placed just yet so I am a bit unsure of the next few steps.
Does anyone have any experience with the POE in this province? What are the public schools like?
Also wondering what the expat community is like in this area? I will know noone so looking forward to making some new friends!
If anyone has anything to contribute, it will be much appreciated!

전북 has the lowest English level of any province in Korea. Adjust your lessons accordingly. (Make them very basic and simple so your students can understand.) |

It depends where you are...city or small town/countryside?
The students in the villages were nice but it is a different life than Seoul or even Jeonju and Gwangju. |
