When does it come out in Korea? Play-Asia is blocked at my work, and I can't get a proxy working. I'm wondering if I should head down to the local game shop after work is over tonight.

Playing the 1st one now. $20 on steam.

Its cool until I got my spaceship. Now it seems like I gotta do a lot of stupid "Land on planet, drive around aimlessly, leave planet". Rinse and repeat.

The game tells you to go to a solar system. Ok, I go there. And that solar system has like 9 planets. I don't know which planet to do to. So I gotta land on planet, drive around aimlessly, leave planet until I find the right one.

You should be able to scan the planets to find the one that you need. I don't remember having to land on a bunch of different ones.

Anyway, my laptop could never handle Mass Effect 2, so I'm waiting on the 360 version. Anyone know when that comes out?

Mass Effect 1 was cool, but way to short. By which I mean, the actual plot line was way too short, with too much running around scanning planets and other such nonsense. I also didn't like the combat much; I'm a much bigger fan of tactical combat wherein you directly control the entire team in a turn based fashion. Far more room for strategy. Take Mass Effect's plotline and put it in a Fire Emblem style combat system, and you'd have one Hell of a game.

It would also be nice if these games that aim to be "epic stories" would stop resorting to side quests like, "This couple is fighting, maybe you can propose a solution," and so forth. When's the last time you were arguing with someone in public, appealed to a random stranger to resolve your dispute, and then actually took that stranger's advice seriously? Yeah I haven't done it either; the common man walking down the street isn't exactly a regular King Solomon.

There's plenty of room for side quests without resorting to that kind of thing.

It's so good! I haven't had this much fun with a game since L4D first came out. I been playing it for 2 days straight and am still in the traditional Bioware 'assemble a team' phase.

Seriously, someone tell me where to buy the Xbox version. Tell me if it will work on my Korean Xbox. Tell me how much money to bring.

Xbox shmexbox. Nab it on Steam- On the billing screen enter your US card info, but change the "Country" to KR. It'll let you DL without the out of country warning. Go figure.

ME2 is 100 times better than Me1

Finished a on Friday. Now I feel like I got a bit of 'Avatar-syndrome'.

My girlfriend has been back in the states and thinks I'm pretty pathetic for not going anywhere during my week off. If only she could understand Very Happy

Not going to go into details but the final boss is *Epic*. Well, in terms of design at least. Can't wait for the next one.
