I've got a 47" LG XCanvax Full-HD TV which doesn't play videos but is supposed to have to ability to do so if I could just find out how to gain access to it's service menu (hidden) to allow the video files to be read. It already reads audio and pictures files, though. There's even a Wiki page about it.
I read that North American, European and Asian TV's have different ways to access the service menu, but my Korean being near non-existant, I have no idea where I could find the way to get to that menu.
There are better ways than going through the service menu to modify the TV, but what I read involved European Nokia cell phones. One had to download a software into the cell phone to turn it into some kind of remote control used to change the options of the TV. That'd be neat if I could find my way to using a cell phone here to do that.
Anyone knows what can be done? |
