How many lessons a week do you prepare?

I'm at 3 schools. I have a few different text books and teach all 3 grades. I also do some teacher classes. All in all I make 9 different lessons a week, mostly ppt's and games made from text book lessons. For the teacher's of course it's better because I have freedom for whatever.

Two regular. Plus up to five extra curricular ("after school(but at 8am)) classes. Plus a conversation class for the teachers. The extra curriculars are repeats these days, so I don't have to put that much work into them.

between 8-11, which is also too many IMO. I do 1 LP/week for 3,4,5,6th grades, then 4 individual after school classes a week, two 1st grade classes, and a teachers class.

I basically do all the lesson planning and talking in my classes. Which is about 26 a week, and half the time I don't have a co-teacher. From what I hear on these boards, this is generally the norm, although it sucks since in the contract it says teachers should help you do LPs, as well as always be there in class with you to help you teach. The most I hope for is that my co-teacher at least keeps them quiet instead of spacing out.

i prepare 3 lessons a week now (without the textbook), but my last school required me to do 6 lessons a week (however, i wasn't allowed to use the book) and my first school wanted 5 (but i was allowed to use the book, so it wasn't a problem).

I make and deliver 1 lesson plan a week. That's for 3 MS and 2 HS grades. Every student gets the same lesson - but it's graded (the H/O gets harder on P2).

I don't make lesson plans for after school. Show a vid, ask some questions, Students write or speak. Zero prep.

Cheers.

I make no lesson plans though. I just make the ppt's and game boards or whatever. I teach the small speaking points from the book.I didn't even make LP in back home when I taught. I think they're a waste of time. I'm sure I'll get wrangled for sayin that.

Three regular classes (I don't follow the book, I gave up because my CTs don't tell me where they are or talk to me about anything, really) and 2 for after school class (should be four, but the levels of the the two groups, are about the same usually).

I work at the same school as I did last year. I teach two grades. For my first year students I don't make any lessons as I made them last year. I do sometimes make up a new one but it is not required.

As for grade two, I make up one new lesson a week.

I teach elementary grades 2-6. I make one lesson a week for grades 2, 3, 5 and 6 and 2 lessons a week for grade 4. Plus two 1 hour after school classes a week. So a total of 8 lessons a week.

I do all the planning and delivery for all of these lessons. Making the LP doesn't take me too long but making the materials for some lessons takes a while.

It is a bit easier this year though because I taught all these grades last year so I already have a bunch of stuff prepared.
